01. STRICTLY EDITORIAL, INFORMATIVE AND CULTURAL NATURE

1.1. The audio content made available by SENSORY FRONTAGE – LDA is provided for strictly editorial, informative, cultural and entertainment purposes, being equivalent, for all legal purposes, to an audiobook or a georeferenced podcast.

1.2. Although the Company exercises diligence regarding the accuracy of historical and geographical data, it does not guarantee that the information is permanently up to date with recent changes in urban planning, monument opening hours or the state of public roads. The information is provided "as is".

1.3. The user acknowledges that the audio contents are narrative and artistic interpretations; the Company is not liable for any historical inaccuracies or differences of interpretation.

1.4. The Company reserves the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any content without prior notice.

02. USER AUTONOMY, ABSENCE OF GUIDE SERVICES AND SAFETY

2.1. The user acknowledges that exploration of the city is undertaken in a fully autonomous, independent and free manner, and at his/her own risk.

2.2. The Company does not organise groups, does not define mandatory itineraries, and does not provide on-site tour guides, escorts or monitors. The user is solely responsible for the choice of itinerary and for the decisions taken in the field.

2.3. Road Safety: The user is solely responsible for his/her physical integrity, undertaking to respect all the rules of the Highway Code and local signage. Listening to the contents should never take precedence over the attention required for driving or pedestrian circulation. The use of headphones with full noise cancellation that prevent hearing emergency sound warnings or surrounding traffic is strictly discouraged. We recommend the use of only one earphone in traffic areas.

03. EXCLUSION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LIABILITY

3.1. SENSORY FRONTAGE – LDA, its managers, employees or collaborators do not assume any civil or criminal liability for any damages, whether direct or indirect, arising from the use of the platform and the audio guide, including, but not limited to:

• Physical Damage and Accidents: Falls, traffic accidents, run-overs or any bodily injuries occurring while the user is listening to the contents;
• Material Damage: Loss, theft, robbery or damage to electronic equipment (smartphones, tablets, headphones) or other personal property;
• Interruptions on the Route: Impossibility of visiting the locations mentioned due to building works, public events, administrative closures or weather conditions.

04. CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE CONTENT

4.1. The software has been designed for pedestrian or passive use. The Company declines any liability if the content is used in a manner that causes distraction during the driving of motor vehicles, bicycles or scooters. The risk of distraction is fully assumed by the user.

05. RESPECT FOR PRIVATE PROPERTY AND SIGNAGE. RESTRICTIONS

5.1. The user must respect private property and restricted-access areas. The mention of a Point of Interest does not constitute authorisation of entry if such entry is conditional or prohibited. The user must respect private property, restricted areas and all local signage indicating prohibition or danger.

06. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

6.1. Any dispute shall be governed by Portuguese Law.

6.2. For the settlement of any controversy, the competent venue shall be the Judicial District of Lisbon, with express waiver of any other.

07. CHANGES TO THE LEGAL NOTICE

7.1. The Company reserves the right to modify this Legal Notice at any time, without the need for prior notice. Modifications shall enter into force on the date of their publication on the Website.
